Project Description

An online workshop, June 2021

We’ll talk about all kinds of stuckness and how to get unstuck. Come prepared to dig in, look into your soul, do writing exercises, and grow. “You cannot overcome being stuck if you somehow feel you would be guilty if you were stuck. When you are perfectly free to feel stuck or not stuck, then you’re unstuck. … There is an expression in Chinese, ‘the flow of thoughts,’ or what we call in literary criticism, ‘stream of consciousness.’ And they put the character for thought three times, niàn, niàn, niàn, and so you will notice that thought follows thought follow thought when you are just ruminating. And those thoughts arise and go like waves on the water; all the time, they come and go.” —Alan Watts
